JOIN US FOR A PACKED DAY OF EVENTS - Morning agenda
8:30 a.m. - Check-in and Registration
Arrive at 8:30 a.m. to check in with the registration desk, get settled in, peruse the raffle items and buy your raffle tickets and visit vendors.
9:00 a.m. - Welcome and Ice Breaker
We'll start the morning with an ice breaker. Get to know your fellow flute day participants and the GCFS team.
9:15 a.m. - Introducing the Little Beast
Mary Kay Robinson will lead a session also about the piccolo and will conclude with a short performance.
10:00 a.m. - Gentle Giants: Introduction to the big flutes
Emily Matz, Cathy Spicer and Bonnie Svetlik will introduce the alto and bass flutes.
10:30 a.m. - Flute Choir Warmups and Rehearsals
Judy Elias is leading the middle school flute choir and Gayle Getts is leading the high school flute choir.
12:00 p.m. - Lunch
Participants should plan on bringing their own lunch. Water, fruit and cookies will be provided.

Jessica has generously donated a private flute lesson for a lucky raffle prize winner! Tickets are $5 each or 3 tickets for $10.
Winner will work with Ms. Sindell to schedule the lesson.
Used Music Sale!
Peruse a variety of used music. Looking for some new solo pieces? A few duet books? Some ensemble pieces? Etude books? We have a plethora of used music that will be available for sale at the event.
Raffle Prizes!
The raffle at the flute festival helps us raise funds to bring in guest artists, clinicians, and more. If you'd like to help us by donating an item for our raffle, please get in touch with us. Raffle tickets are $1 each and 6 tickets for $5.
