When a group of professional and amateur musicians performed new flute music by Cleveland composers at the Chicago Flute Festival in 2009, Erie Waters was born!

Their unique sound comes from bringing together bass, alto, C flutes, piccolo, and Native American flutes. Erie Waters programs a variety of musical genres and styles.

The Erie Waters Flute Ensemble plays full programs of exciting works for Flute Choir as well as church services and functions. Please contact us for details on booking.

Bass flute rental

The Greater Cleveland Flute Society owns three bass flutes that are available for rental.

Any current member of the Greater Cleveland Flute Society is eligible to rent the flute. If the renter is under age 18, a parent or guardian must sign the rental agreement and take responsibility for the flute.

The students/choir members who will be playing the flute must be current GCFS members.

Students/ flute choir members are not allowed to take the bass flute home without checking it out through GCFS. The person renting the flute is ultimately responsible for returning the flute in the condition it was received. GCFS reserves the right to refuse rental.
